Inspiration for this typeface came from a synopsis of the Old Testament printed by press in the late 1700’s in Germany. This is where the name comes from, some German glyphs, and a few old German ligatures to correspond with the time period. 

All glyphs were first written out by hand before being traced and adjusted or assembled digitally. Some process work can be seen below.
